- Exempt Type of Position: FT Summary/Objective: The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all incoming shipments at the shipping dock and managing inventory across our storage facility. This role ensures that storage materials and assets are maintained and organized, and that required materials are transported to the main facility as needed. The Receiving Coordinator operates with a high degree of independence and will report directly to the Receiving Supervisor. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Receive and inspect all incoming shipments, ensuring they meet quality and quantity standards. Maintain organization of materials and assets in the storage facility and ensure they are easily accessible. Transport materials between the storage facility and the main facility as required. Ensure that various departments have the materials they need in a timely manner. Develop and maintain efficient inventory management systems to monitor stock levels. Record and track inventory data, including quantity, condition, and location of materials. Organize and maintain the shipping dock area to promote efficiency and safety in operations. Report any discrepancies or issues with incoming materials to the Receiving Supervisor. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications: Previous experience in receiving, inventory management, or a similar role preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
